Let it snow :-)

This guy and a couple of friends were laying down some seriously good hip-hop grooves in Bristol today. He played both tenor sax and electronic reeds, and worked with a loop-box... that was the only instrumentation - the instrumentalist here, a damn fine rapper, and a female vocalist were doing it live on the street better than most 'name' bands could do it in a studio...

You've managed to capture his rhythm in that photo, no easy thing. Thank you.

The art of that is your own timing, you have to leave something 'hanging' where it couldn't possibly be without movement. The fact you're so musically-minded yourself gives you quite an advantage if you fancy trying it...

Unless your autofocus is blindingly fast you'll need to go manual to catch it right.

I used a fully-manual vintage lens (a 28mm Pentax lens on an adapter) iso 400, 1/320 sec, with f2.0 aperture to take the audience in the background out of focus.
