Hi, I have about 6 quickstart icons on the left hand side of my taskbar. I lock the taskbar. About every 6 times I boot up, the taskbar has shrunk and only 3 icons are showing, I unlock the taskbar, drag the seperator to show all icons, and lock it again.

Is this a "feature" , or am I doin' summat wrong?  thinking

 thank you

I used to use clichés all the time, now I avoid them like the plague, these days a cliché to me, is like a red rag to a bull.

I doubt it's a feature, or that it's your fault - but where you'd look to find the cause, I haven't a whatsis. Did find this 7-year old MS note, though. Any good?

Ah, the registry, I had a little fun in there back in my W98 days, and couldn't quite understand why W98 would not boot up properly after I had 're-arranged' things a bit.

In fact, now I think about it, I seem to recall Norman mentioning something along the lines of, he was following some advice given by Baron.

Try and shift the blame why don't you ?. Shocked Shocked Grin

I might have offered some advice, but it may have been an error of judgement.  Grin
