He is Portugese & holds a Portugese passport as far as I am aware
There should be some way for criminals from EU countries to be deported to their own country & refused admission to UK. Other Eu countries seem to manage it so why can't we

Other EU countries don't have a channel tunnel with France on the other end of it - they refuse to let us ID check at their end as it's their sovereign territory, and once somebody arrives at this end of the tunnel they then refuse to have them back.

That's the main route for trafficking as there's nothing legal we can do about it.

I still reckon the best thing to do with that tunnel is brick up this end, then flood it.
