Have a look at this vid from the BBC on the new Joint Strike fighter, and then the others on the same subject.

Like the man says, this might well be the last of the piloted fighter jets, but it looks an absolute beauty - assuming we will ever have the money to buy it, and the carriers to fly it from!

On that note, I believe the Government has chosed the F35B as shown here on a three week trial on an aircraft carrier showing its capabilites. No, they don't melt the flight deck on STO's and VL's either... Grin
