NOTE:
there are lots of complaints so far about problems with KB2647753 that will install & continually retry to install again & again and again & again.......... and again etc
just let it install once & ignore the others for now until Microsoft sort it all out

There are also updates for MS Office, so if you normally get update notifications for 'windows only' don't forget to grab those too...

Adobe updates also

Adobe Reader and Acrobat: http://www.adobe.com/support/security/bulletins/apsb12-16.html

Shockwave Player: http://www.adobe.com/support/security/bulletins/apsb12-17.html

Flash Player: http://www.adobe.com/support/security/bulletins/apsb12-18.html

and the KB2647753 continually being reoffered on W7  is now solved but you might have to still do it twice to get risd of the cached copy

From WU I got 9 updates plus 1 for MSE definition.
No problems incurred on reboot.

Also updated Flash and Shockwave players too.
I just wish Adobe wouldn't push  Google bloody Chrome with every download......I don't effing want it !.  Grin

Done and dusted but .....

I had to download and install a new component installer, which I duly did, only to have it repeat cycle on whether I needed a new component installer or not. Closed IE and reloaded it, it then asked if I wanted to install it, which I did and it then asked if I wanted to install it, which I did and then at long last it checked for updates.

I clicked custom (I don't trust MS) and set to install. For some reason it didn't install the Malicious Software Removal Tool (KB890830) and on rechecking for update it also found KB2723135, which it happily installed without a problem.

I always have WU set to notify me of current and optional downloads........but NOT to download them without my checking them and pressing the download button.
Nothing worse that having it as automatic and playing a game for a couple of hours only to find windows nagging that it wants a restart.
