Why do so many guests seem fascinated by this thread?

Excellent though it is.

I used to use clichs all the time, now I avoid them like the plague, these days a clich to me, is like a red rag to a bull.
"I'm an idiot, I've just realised"..."I don't think"....outrageously quoted out of context.

I have no idea - but I'd noticed the same thing.

I've bumped the thread to make sure it doesn't get deleted, as it does bring a lot of traffic.

Maybe the whole world loves rice pudding.  :)

It just comes up number 1 in Google for slow cooked rice pudding or slow cooker rice pudding

I can well imagine that at this time of year many people use a slow cooker and with the recession and cold weather, are looking for cheap filling meals

There's a lot to be said for comfort-food, and if it's lazy comfort food so much the better.  :yup:

Another few thousand might be enough to slow things down a bit... until then I wouldn't worry, the server is pretty robust.

Fair doos, but does that not seem a surprisingly high number of "guests" ?

It does considering they're not all from the same place... different networks within the same country mainly though so it looks co-ordinated.

I've set some bait so I can watch what pattern forms as they discover it. ;)

Although there are quite a lot of them, they do appear to be behaving reasonably well - they're not showing up in the forum error-log by trying to get to places they shouldn't, or making multiple attempts to log in, sign up etc.
