I couldn't give a monkeys what they do to their own website or whether they hide their own archives. But I do care if they are putting pressure on the internet archive, which is supposed to be totally independent and free of censorship & political control. If they are forcing the internet archive to remove old versions & speeches, it is exactly the same as going to the British Library and destroying old books.

Perhaps they don't want quotes from previous speeches to be used against them when in a current speech they say something rather different ?
