File uploads and error 408

because of attacks against various message boards and blogs on this server, you might get 408 errors when uploading files that contain malware or suspected malware
the cure for that is to zip the files and make sure the zip is encrypted ( password protected)

Windows & doc/image files should be OK and it is primarily detecting php files and webscripts as malicious ( when they are) I have set it to use some degree of heuristics /baysian fuzzy logic, but hopefully false alarms should be few

if we see lots of problems please let me know
