They work! (At least, ours does). A bit of a buzz, from it. But, it's not horrific.

Yesterday, I thought my computer had started making a weird noise. Thankfully, I realised it was this new thingy, before I started to rip the computer apart...

By the way... I might qualify for some bogel points...

Back when we moved up here, I assembled the computer and got it running fine. Then, I kept getting a load of read errors, from the HD.

Scratched head.

Replaced drives.

Got more read errors.

Scratched head.

Realised that I'd put the computer right beside a fucking great speaker.

Speaker. Magnets.

Said something like "Oh, FFS".

Moved speaker five feet away.

Voila! No more read errors. :)

Managed to get all the drives back working too.

What a numpty.
