For anyone else using Opera v12.17.
« on: May 25, 18, 06:00 PM »
Although it's not been supported for ages, Opera have released v12.18. It's a security fix and it does, actually, improve things. For example, I couldn't access many https sites. Can, now.

If you're wonder why they did this, it's been postulated that as the company are in negotiations to hook up, in some way, with some Chinese organisation, they thought it would benefit their business profile...

It seems a LOT of people still use v12.x and I can understand why, coz it was a damned good browser and still is.

I might try Opera again, as currently I just use IE (occasionally Edge) and Chrome.
I have tried so many browsers over the years, well, since 1999.  :)
So when not much else to do, I might install it to see how we get along.  ;D

The latest Opera's a wank sellout. It's Chrome with a different coat of paint.

Vivaldi uses the engine, but it's WAY better. I quite like Otter, too.
